PRODUCT INFORMATION

Fly lures are hand tied to catch fresh water insect feeding game fish worldwide wherever trout and other sport fish are found.  They are hand made to resemble flys or insects of many kinds and are most commonly quite simple or impressionistic in design.  This traditional method of tying flys has dominated the mass production or factory level of fly manufacturing and still does today, until now.  Common problems with many traditional factory market flys is that they come apart too easily. They simply don`t last fish after fish. Next, there are literally thousands of factory flys that essentially look the same by sillouette but vary only in color or size. To be frank,  most factory market flys are designed to make money first than catch fish second this is not to say that they do not catch fish, but that experienced anglers look for above average factory market quality and design to achieve a more fullfilling angling experience.  Our focus is entomologically correct fly design first combined with many traditional styles to educate and offer the angler a better first choice of fly lure to enhance their fishing experiences where ever.

Made to be both durable and attractive to fish our designs of lures/artificial insect patterns are the culmination of many years of research and development both on the water and at the tying place. The realistic fly series use a unique combination of tecnique and materials to achieve a life like insect that attracts gamefish of many varietys that feed on insects in lake, river or stream anywhere. Many of the larger patterns are soft and durable and even feel life like so the fish will hold on to them longer than hard body lures or sparcely tied trad`s that are mostly hook.  We also offer hand tied fish, minnows, frogs .mice and other rhodents for the unconventional angler who stray`s from traditional methodology`s.  Check out our up and coming Moth series which look and feel so real that they fool a lot more than just fish. These new and cutting edge designs take much longer for a tyer to produce and as result are most wanted by serious fish hunters who demand the best. As such these modern flys are  currently available in limited quantities for start.  Training workers to manufacture this kind of quality takes time for any factory and we educate each and every flytyer individually to insure quality, durability and realism along with an incentive program to secure worker satifaction and loyalty.

Traditional fly series use industry standard materials with production innovation to offer  durable and quality dryflys, wetflys , nymphs and streamers at competative prices for those who seek regular market fly styles.  Finished with a special flex thread for the head all of our flys need no head cement and contain no thinners or paints to add unwanted oders.

FLYS

       Flys are designed to imitate mature or immature insects of many shapes and sizes. The insect sillouettes shown here are amoung the most popular fishing flys imitated worldwide. Find the shape you want first then the tying style drawing then a photo sample of that style within that group.  If the photo is labelled with the word CURRENT on it this means it is available now.   GALLERY flies are various patterns that have been tied by the Product Design Manager of this factory and field tested in Western Canada with excellent results on many freshwater species including trout.  Some of the patterns have been produced in the past and some have not.  If you would like any of these flies simply place your contact information, fly ID# and the quantity/size desired in the Feedback page provided.  We begin production of any GALLERY pattern as we accumulate requests that exceed 50 pieces for that pattern.

STREAMER & MINNOW  FLY  PATTERNS

       Our streamers & minnows can be used for both fly & spin fishing. We can weight the pattern for either shallow or deep fishing depending on the customers need.  This section includes both traditional and modern realistic fly styles 

       We also do plug & lure alterations in assorted material selecitions,such as the plugs.  We also have conceptual saltwater patterns never produced but are interested in customer feedback and opinion.

GREAT CANADIEN NORTHERN BUGGARS

       Designed after the widely known and successful wooly buggar the GCNB series is made for both the fly and spin angler.  GCNB`S come in a wide range of colors and sizes to suit all kinds of game fishing and can be weighted to fish by casting, trolling, jigging or the like.  We also produce them with eyes and add tinsel to tail or body for added attraction in deep or discolored waters.  GCNB`S at a competative price can add to your tackle box or store to give you greater flexability for success in any freshwater angling situation.
